Govardhan Hill – is the holly hill situated near Vrindavan, India. Krishna‘s divine plays at this hill are described in the Puranas. Besides, according to tradition, Krishna lifted this hill by his little finger and kept holding it for seven days and nights to shield the villagers of Vrindavan from the shower sent by Indra. Thousands of Krishnaites and followers of other religious movements of Hinduism pilgrim to the Govardhan Hill to perform parikrama and praise Krishna.
