Shaktism (Sanskrit for “doctrine of power”) — is one of the main schools of Hinduism (along with Vaishnavism, Shivaism and Smartism). It is based on worshiping Shakti as the Supreme Being. Shaktists tend towards mysticism and Tantra rituals.
